1. Introduction

Welcome to Investcore Home Inspections. By scheduling or using any of our services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service. These terms are designed to protect both you (the client) and us (the service provider) and ensure clarity, honesty and professionalism throughout our working relationship.


2. Scope of Services

Investcore Home Inspections provides visual, non-invasive residential home inspections. The inspection is based on visible and accessible areas of the property at the time of inspection. Our services may include (but are not limited to):

  • Buyer’s home inspection
  • Pre-listing (seller’s) inspection
  • New home inspection
  • Condo & townhouse inspection
  • Tarion warranty inspection
  • Home maintenance inspection

The inspector will not dismantle systems, damage property or access concealed areas such as behind walls or under floors.


3. Limitations of Inspection

Home inspections are non-invasive and not technically exhaustive. We do not provide guarantees, warranties or predictions about the future performance of any system or component. The inspection reflects the condition of the property on the day of inspection only.


4. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide safe and clear access to all relevant areas of the property
  • Inform us of any specific concerns you want addressed
  • Review the inspection agreement and report in a timely manner
  • Not hold Investcore liable for issues not reasonably visible or accessible at the time of inspection

5. Reports and Use of Information

All inspection findings will be delivered in a digital report (PDF format) on the same day unless otherwise discussed. This report is for your personal use only and may not be modified, resold or publicly shared without written consent.

While we are happy to answer follow-up questions, we are not responsible for interpretations of the report by third parties (e.g. agents, lawyers, contractors).


6. Cancellations and Rescheduling

We understand that schedules change. You may cancel or reschedule your appointment with at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a $50 fee.

If our inspector arrives at the property and cannot proceed due to inaccessible areas or unsafe conditions, a trip charge may apply.


7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the liability of Investcore Home Inspections is limited to the amount paid for the inspection service. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising out of or related to our services.


8. Privacy and Data Use

We respect your privacy. All client information and inspection data will be handled securely and confidentially. We will never sell, rent or misuse your information. Reports may be stored for internal reference or legal compliance only.


9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be resolved under Ontario jurisdiction.
